Cherrybrook record as school zoning underpins price growth
A Cherrybrook six-bedroom home with a tennis court has sold for a reported $1.72 million record.
The cul de sac 1990s property at 20 Rossian Place was inspected by 65 groups with 13 contracts issued through David Choy from McGrath Estate Agents.
It last sold at $990,000 in 2004, having failed to sell when listed for 20 December auction late last year. It sits on a 1,227 square metre holding.
The previous record was $1.68 million for 8 Norwich Place in October 2014. It was a 1995 built five bedroom house on 1,000 square metres that previously sold in 2005 at $945,000.
Set within the Cherrybrook Technology High zone, it was bought by a family seeking the school.
