Chenchow Little Freshwater House sold after weekend auction

The Chenchow Little-designed, Freshwater House - with automated heated lap pool with Bisazza tiled waterfall flowing to pond - has been sold.

On the market for the first time with a price guide of over $4.75 million, it was passed in at weekend auction for $4.1 million, then sold after post-auction negotiations. Its an undisclosed price understood to be close to $4.5 million.

Built in 2008, Sydney's Freshwater House won the coveted Robyn Boyd award – Australia’s peak architectural award for residential – for Tony Chenchow in 2009.

The property features four bedrooms and three bathrooms over three levels, with the upper level dark-bronze panels retracting at the push of a button.

The property also boasts an elevated swimming pool with a waterfall which was flowing on its very wet Saturday auction day.

Located on Undercliff Road, Freshwater House is only metres from Freshwater Beach.

The Undercliff Road selling agent was Michael Clarke of Clarke and Humel Property as well as David Rothschild from LJ Hooker Seaforth.

The median house price in Freshwater is $1,242,500 according to RP Data.
