Carlton unit sells at weekend auction

A Carlton unit has sold for $680,000 at weekend auction. 

The two-bedroom apartment, at 6/2 Carnarvon Street, features two car spaces, a large balcony, and a single bathroom.

There is 149 square metres of internal floorspace (not including the balcony).

It came onto the market with a price guide of between $600,000 and $650,000.

It previously traded in 1998, when it sold for $225,250.

Carlton's median unit price is $645,000.

John Kastellorios, from Laing+Simmons St George, listed the property.
