The 1916 Burwood, Sydney home, Naqueta - which means happy home - fetched $4,005,000 at weekend auction.

Set metres from Burwood's shops and station, the Federation residence at 28 Livingstone Street last traded in 1977. 

The three bedroom home on its 1031 sqm non conservation zoned block sold bullishly through Matthew Nolan at Rich and Oliva.

There were 24 registered bidders with 10 getting a bid in after the opening $2.5 million offer.
