The property transacted for $448,000 when last sold in 2011.

William Hawkins and Ben White of The Place marketed the unit.

Situated at 2407/501A Adelaide Street, the 24th floor apartment is described in the listed as an "oversized" and a "perfect investment opportunity or ideal pied a terre."

It captures views over the fringe to the north east, sights from the Story Bridge to the Northern Suburbs.

Set on 58 sqm, the listing estimates that the one bedroom, one bathroom unit could be rented for around $350/pw.

The median sale price for a unit in Brisbane City is $490,000, according to CoreLogic, which calculate its annual change in median price over the past 10 years as 1.1%.
