A Bowen, Queensland mortgagee home set on industrial land has sold for $175,000.

The three bedroom, one bathroom house went to auction without a price guide on December 14 2019.

Brian Sellars of the Professionals marketed the abode.

Situated at 5 Gregory Street, the home is located on the corner with dozens of metres of street frontage on both sides of the property.

Set on 1,027 sqm the house is located near the harbour front as well as the post office and the beach.

The marketing material said it would be "Easy to establish a combined home and work depot."

Last sold in 2003, the home transacted for $142,500.

Tge property was listed as a rental seeking $295/pw in March 2016 and more recently when it sought $230/pw in January 2017.

The median price for a house in Bowen is $261,250 according to CoreLogic.
