Brisbane had the nation's cheapest sale at weekend auctions.

It was when 10 Woody Avenue at Kingston, near Logan south of Brisbane, was sold at a big loss.

The neglected three bedroom home on 605 sqm fetched $226,000, nearly $90,000 less than the $315,000 it sold for four years ago.

It was 2015 when it was bought by Sydney investors who initially sought $460 a week tenants.

They were also paying less than it had traded for before. It had last sold at $335,000 in 2010.

Ray White Logan City agents Keny Guerra and Sam Muller pitched the home at first home buyers and renovators.

"Bring your tools and make this home shine again," they advised.
