Balwyn North the only suburb outside Sydney with $1 million apartment median price

Balwyn North is the only suburb outside Sydney with an $1 million plus apartment median price in the six months to June 30.

Sydney now has 16 of the nation's 17 suburbs where apartments have a $1 million median - up from nine last year, according to Australian Property Monitors.

Sydney's top-priced apartment suburb is Point Piper with a $1,615,000 median, just ahead of Milsons Point on $1.6 million.
