Art deco Dorijo apartment block sells at 458 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne

The art deco Dorijo apartments at 458 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne have been sold for $4.95 million.

Heritage watchers are now worried as to its fate, hoping for its restoration.

It was offered through Teska Carson.

The art deco block has 12 strata units sold in one line. Some leases were still existing.

With weekly rents upwards from $260, its income was around $175,000 annually, reflecting a 3.5% yield. 

Its land area is 647 square set between Powlett and Hoddle streets.
