Altitude One40 at Mission Beach on the Great Barrier Reef has been listed for sale through Unique Estates.

The Hunter family holiday let's prized guest was back in 2008 when the singer actor Grace Jones ended up extending her stay from three days to around three weeks.

There is a helipad at the hilltop home on four hectares of mostly rainforest.

The house won HIA awards in 2007 after its construction.

Altitude One40 is located at Narragon Beach, just north of Mission Beach.

There are views of the Barnard group of islands south to Hinchinbrook Island.
