Adelaide's cheapest at Seacliff Park

Adelaide's most affordable property to sell at auction on the weekend was in Seacliff Park, southwest of Adelaide.

According to figures from Australian Property Monitors, a 1960s-built flat-roof three-bedroom house at 34 Thomas Street sold for $335,000.

It was marketed as a knock down with potential sea views through Phil McMahon Real Estate Glenelg.

The top price paid for a house in Thomas Street is $535,000 for a 1970s-built thee bedroom brick home was paid in 2010.

According to RP Data the median sale price for a house in Seacliff Park was $550,000 in August this year while median increase over five years is nearly 9%.

Houses in the area lease for a median rent of $370 a week.
