ABC TV host Leigh Sales, the 7.30 presenter, and her husband, animator Phil Willis, had hoped their Glebe townhouse would fetch more than $1.3 million
With plans to upsize to something nearby with more space for the family of four, they secured $1,705,000 at weekend BresicWhitney auction with 10 registered bidders.
The corner property has been home to the couple since 2009 when they paid $955,000.
