It sold for $289,000 at its February 9 auction.

Set on 607 sqm it is described in the listing as a "blank canvas... with abundant space available".

Last sold in 1991 the home was sold by the Queensland housing commission for $81,250.

The home is within a short drive of supermarket's, schools and universities.
