Boatshed 8 Point King Beach, Portsea listed with high hopes for January auction

A Portsea bathing box cum boatshed is set to break the bathing box record in Victoria.

The box, number 8 at Point King Beach, has a guide of $450,000 to $495,000 for its January 20 auction.

Liz Jensen and Lorna Duffy at Kay & Burton Portsea are conducting the marketing.

The listing photos shop a deep beach box, littered with paddle boards, bodyboards, a kayak and lifejackets.

It has an exposed insulated roof.

Bathing box number 1, just further down the beach, is up for auction on Australia Day with a guide of $300,000 to $330,000.
