92 percent of Geelong weekend auctions cleared: CoreLogic

Geelong takes the top spot for highest weekend regional auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of 27 auctions in Geelong 92.6 percent resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by Wollongong with 85.2 percent and Sunshine Coast with 59.1 percent.

Gold Coast had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 48 percent of its 50 auctions cleared.

A four bedroom house at 15 Ferndale Parade, Highton (above) was sold for $650,000.

Similarly a three bedroom house at 15 Collins Street, Belmont (below) was sold for $575,000.
