The busiest suburbs for auctions this week continue to be those in Victoria.

Reservoir tops the list with 20 homes scheduled for auction, followed closely by Balwyn North (17), Bentleigh East (15) and Cheltenham (13).

So far the 2018 "Spring selling season" has seen volumes remain relatively steady with just 1,882 auctions this week, down from last weeks 1,916.

Comparing activity to the same week last year, volumes are down 25 per cent on the 2,510 auctions held one year ago.

Indicative of this strong auction turnout in Reservoir is 69 Hickford Street, Reservoir (pictured above).

The three bedroom two bathroom house goes to auction this Saturday and comes with a price guide of $880,000 to $920,000.

Set on a 799 sqm block the home last sold in 1994 for $211,000.
