A Mount Gambier four bedroom house has recently been sold by mortgagees for $155,000 after a final $5,000 price reduction.

It was sold by Kathryn Weddel-Lucas from Blue Lake Real Estate whose most recent asking price was $160,000.

It was first listed last December with $180,000 hopes.

It had last traded at $145,000 in 2005.

Situated at 1 Finch Street, the southeastern South Australian home comes with four bedrooms, lounge room, storage room/play room, rear deck and single carport.

Set on a 725sqm, the solid stone home has been upgraded with a new kitchen with stainless steel gas stove, renovated bathroom with shower over the bath, and detached laundry with new tiles.

The suburb's median house price sits at $255,000, according to CoreLogic.
