Sydney clearance rate dropped into the 40s last weekend

The latest release from CoreLogic suggests Sydney's auction clearance rate dropped in to the 40 percent bracket last weekend.

Preliminary statistics suggested they achieved a 55.8 percent clearance rate.

Brisbane also well below its initial results in to the 30s (below).

Adelaide's strong 72 percent clearance rate dropped two brackets in to the high 50s.

It was small spaces that were the headline at last weekends auctions.

A small one bedder at Kirribilli fetched $1.875 million.

This weekend national auction volume numbers are down considerably, while Victoria has the three busiest suburbs.

Clearance rates continue to nosedive and are reaching levels they haven't dropped to since 2012.
