A converted Carlton converted church has been sold by Scott McElroy and Will Caldwell from Hockingstuart who had it listed with $3.5 million hopes.

Positioned on one of Carlton's best tree-line streets, the 96 Drummond Street house comes with three double bedrooms.

It has open plan lounge/living and separate large entry foyer.

It last sold at $1.55 million in 2006.
