Both three bedroom penthouses in Rawcorp's Fivechester Terrace in Queensland's Southport have sold to undisclosed buyers.

According to Marketing Projects SEQ, four competing offers on the north east penthouse were received and five offers on the north-west penthouse.

Both penthouses sold to undisclosed buyers for $870,000 and $990,000 respectively.

Kyia Anderson, Marketing Projects SEQ Managing Director said the penthouse sales highlight the demand for high end apartments, along with the strong local confidence in the affluent TSS precinct of Southport.

“The demand for large, three bedroom apartments has escalated in recent months, with both penthouses sold to downsizers who didn’t want to compromise on space or lifestyle,” she said.

“The penthouses cover 220sqm on level six, with three large bedrooms and a separate study all with balcony access. Each features a wrap-around balcony with 270 degree views overlooking the Gold Coast hinterland, Surfers Paradise skyline and the Broadwater.

“Fivechester has attracted numerous buyers looking to relocate to the Gold Coast from the southern states and Brisbane, with the location proving to be a key selling point.

“Positioned just out of the glitter strip but close to light rail, restaurants and shopping centres provides convenience for owner occupiers, and appeal for investors with a strong rental yield of five to six per cent.”

Fivechester, designed by Inarc Design, comprises 26 open plan apartments.

Just three apartments remain selling from $479,000
