Coronation Property’s 8 Phillip Street tower in Sydney's Parramatta has been recognised with the Marketing Award at the 2017 UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence.

The award recognises the successful creative campaign ‘PS I Love You’, created by Frost* Collective.

In accepting the award, Coronation Property’s Managing Director Joe Nahas recognised the fierce competition for the top prize, and outlined how the marketing for 8 Phillip Street had to be “truly visionary” in order to triumph.

“With so many fantastic developments currently in the pipeline for NSW, the messaging for 8 Phillip Street had to stand out amongst some very strong competitors,” he said.

“The architecture and interiors sold themselves, so the creative device and subsequent tagline focused on the lifestyle: Love the life you live. Live the life you love. From this, the PS (Phillip Street) I Love You tagline was born.

“Another unique aspect of 8 Phillip Street’s marketing was the decision not to have a generic project logo, but rather to have the project identified by its iconic brand campaign – PS I Love You – allowing the residential address to remain the identifier for the building.

“We challenged ourselves to deliver a building that is unique to Western Sydney in an area that is already saturated with development, and these partnerships were crucial in realising that vision,” he said..

The 8 Phillip Street development features a ‘Studio 54’ rooftop bar, flagship Rockpool Dining Group restaurants Saké and Rockpool Bar & Grill, and the boutique QT hotel on its lower levels.

The 55-storey 8 Phillip Street development is due for completion in 2020 and will comprise 314 residences, with apartments to include one, two and three bedroom configurations, as well as studio and penthouse options.
