Geelong takes top spot with highest weekend auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

Geelong takes the top spot with the region’s highest weekend auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 21 auctions in Geelong 85.7% resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by Hunter region with 78.3% and Wollongong with 70.8%.

Gold Coast takes the lowest spot with a auction clearance rate of only 41.4%.

A three bedroom house at 53 Stubbs Avenue, North Geelong (above) was sold over the weekend for $466,000.

Another three bedroom house at 4 Barcelona Street, Norlane (below) was sold for $340,000.
