Ray White Broadbeach prestige agents Sam Guo and Julia Kuo have just sold more than $22 million of Gold Coast property across eight properties over the past four weeks.

So far this year Mr Guo and Ms Kuo have sold more than $110 million in the current financial year.

This dynamic pair have established a reputation in the Gold Coast's competitive and challenging market.

Mr Guo, who was born in Sichuan province said his Chinese heritage was definitely a big advantage in his sales success.

"Of course, there’s no doubt.

“But then I always have a good month before I go away as I try and close all the deals before I go to and have a break with my family, and not leave any open.

“I like to leave and have good peace of mind that I have worked hard for my owners and I can enjoy my break,” said Mr Guo before he heads off overseas for a few weeks.

Of the eight properties, half sold to local families or interstate buyers, and the rest to international buyers.

"My Chinese buyers of 14 Southern Cross Drive, Cronin Island who just bought it for $5.6 million spent three days with me and then bought that one.

"Chinese buyers are comfortable with us as there is trust and often people in the Chinese community will refer me as someone they can trust.

“They say ‘deal with him, good choice’. Word of mouth referral is critical with Chinese people and if I get positive referrals then definitely helps.”

Number 14 Southern Cross Drive, Cronin Island was a grand three-level six bedroom north-facing mansion on 1262sq m.

“This house represents opulence from a time gone by," Mr Guo said.
