Outer East Melbourne region take highest auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

Melbourne’s Outer East region had the highest weekend auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 89 auctions in the Outer East 88.8 percent resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by the North East with 81.6 percent and the North West with 81.3 percent.

With only 68.7 percent of its 201 auctions cleared the Inner region had the lowest auction clearance rate.

A three bedroom house at 235 High Street Road, Ashwood (above) was sold for $1.32 million.

Similarly a three bedroom townhouse at 3/1 Grant Street, Malvern East (below) was sold for $1.06 million.
