Only seven apartments remain on the market in Frasers Property Australia’s Newport, Brisbane development Hamilton Reach.

Some 27 of the 34 apartments have sold out, totalling $35.9 million. They feature a mix of two and three-bedroom apartments across five levels.

Cameron Leggatt, general manager Residential Queensland for Frasers Property Australia, said Newport’s popularity could be attributed to its unique and thoughtful design, coveted location and Brisbane’s buoyant prestige market.

“Our relationship with Newport’s architect, Rothelowman, across several stages of Hamilton Reach has been crucial in achieving the best design outcomes for this development,” he said.

“This has enabled the architect to develop an intimate and holistic understanding of the community, its residents and their lifestyle needs.

“Their design at Newport has created a timeless yet innovative waterfront apartment lifestyle that has caught the eye and captured the heart of the discerning prestige apartment buyer.”

Buyer Errol Taylor and wife Kathy purchased a three-bedroom three-bathroom apartment on Newport’s second level after downsizing from Brisbane.

“The children had grown up and left home so we wanted something on the water that could accommodate the family when they visit,” he said.

“We also wanted to be in a position where we could go on holiday and not worry about the garden, security and checking the letterbox.

“We absolutely love the community feel and vibe - it’s family friendly which is great for our grandkids.

“We love the lifestyle here – it’s an excellent location that is close to everything but still has a relaxed, family feel.”

Newport apartments range in size from 109sqm to 165sqm and are priced from $755,000 to $1.525 million.
