A total of 188 auctions are now scheduled for Melbourne in January, according to Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) statistics.
 
The agent overseeing Melbourne’s first 2017 auction, Harcourts Frankston director Darren Dowel will take 37 Fleetwood Cres, Frankston South (above) to auction on Saturday, January 14 at 11am.

37 Fleetwood Cres, Frankston South (above) is a three-bedroom weatherboard home featuring chandeliers, a reading nook, a covered deck and spacious leafy gardens.

The 764sq m block is within both the Frankston High School and Derinya Primary School zone and is 1km from the beach.

Dowel told the Herald Sun that 68 people had come through the home after just 25 days on the market.

“It’s been owned by an elderly couple for 25 years and they’re now moving to Gippsland Lakes,” he said.

REIV CEO Geoff White said close to 4000 auctions were held in Victoria in December, the highest number in the state’s history, with more than 1200 of these auctions held on December 17-18.
