Reservoir leads the Super Saturday spring auction listing spree

Reservoir with 22 auctions leads Melbourne's second biggest auction Saturday in 2016.

It is closely followed by St Kilda 21, East Malvern 19, Craigieburn 18, Glen Iris and Mount Waverley each with 17, according to Domain.

The Reservoir listings include a $650,000 to $700,000 listing (above) on Powell Street which last sold in 1985 for $57,500.

The Melbourne home auction market will host its biggest spring Saturday with nearly 1350 homes set to go under the hammer this Saturday.

It is well below last year’s record Saturday offering of 1622 over the same weekend but significantly higher than the 1061 auctioned last weekend. 

Melbourne’s western suburbs will lead the regions for auction activity this Saturday with 213 homes listed to go under the hammer.
