Hunter region takes top spot with highest auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

The Hunter region had the highest auction clearance rate compared to other regional regions, according to CoreLogic’s latest weekly report.
The property advisory firm says that out of the 34 known auctions in the Hunter region 73 percent were sold under the hammer.
This is followed by Wollongong with 68 percent and Geelong with 66 percent.
The region with the lowest auction clearance rate was the Sunshine Coast where only 50 percent of its 18 auctions were sold.
