Units in NT, SA and WA areas at bottom of property market cycle despite steady unit sales: HTW

The NT, SA and WA housing markets are a either beginning to rebound or approaching the bottom of the market, according to Herron Todd White’s latest monthly market report.

The property advisory firm says that these areas are in a reasonably balanced position with Darwin and Perth reporting an oversupply of houses.

The demand for houses is fair across the board with only Darwin, Perth and South West WA's market softening, while the volume of houses being sold remains stable.

Units in the NT, SA and WA areas, however, are currently either at the bottom of the property cycle market or approaching.

HTW report a steady amount of units being sold with only Darwin, Perth and South West WA reporting a decline in units being sold.

Darwin and Perth's rental vacancy unit market is increasing.
