A former car yard has been transformed into a thriving residential hub following the completed construction of a $270-million master-planned community at Hurstville.

Australian hotelier and developer TOGA has completed construction at Highpoint Hurstville; a three-tower 448-apartment development located at the highest topographic point in Hurstville City.

More than 800 residents now occupy the Stanisic Architects-designed development.

TOGA Development and Construction Chief Executive Officer Fabrizio Perilli said Highpoint Hurstville delivered high-quality and convenient living to one of Sydney’s most central locations.  

“Highpoint Hurstville is centrally located to access both the CBD and the airport with an abundance of direct transport links, shopping amenities and educational facilities,” Mr Perilli said.

TOGA General Manager of Sales, Marketing and Property Management Alex Adams said to sell-out hundreds of apartments shortly after construction commenced was an impressive milestone.

“Highpoint Hurstville has been incredibly popular with buyers with all 448 apartments selling out immediately after construction commenced,” Mr Adams said.

“The site’s unique elevation, spectacular views and excellent location all come together to create an exceptional standard of living,” he said.

Many apartments at Highpoint Hurstville boast spectacular views to the Sydney CBD, George’s River and surrounds; captured by floor-to-ceiling glazing and alfresco terraces.

“We are thrilled to see our vision for Highpoint Hurstville translate into the gateway precinct it is today,” Mr Adams added.

Located in Hurstville’s city centre, Highpoint Hurstville is located 16 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and 800 metres from Hurstville Station; at 458 Forest Road.

Residents are within walking distance to nearby Hurstville Westfield, the railway station as well as the pedestrian strip shopping dotted along Forest Road.

Highpoint Hurstville is anchored by four retail shopfronts at street level and replaces the former Dominelli Ford car yard site.

Construction at Highpoint Hurstville commenced in February 2014 and was completed in July this year.

The completion adds to the developer’s year of success after TOGA sold more than 80 per cent of apartments in its 192-residence tower One Twenty Macquarie at the one-day sales launch in March this year.
