South Sydney Rabbitohs prop George Burgess has snapped up a garden apartment in Randwick's Epoque boutique development.

Recently engaged to model Joanna King, Burgess paid about $2 million for the MHNDU designed three bedroom apartment. There's eight in the block listed through D'Leanne Lewis at Laing & Simmons Double Bay. Prices range up to $2.6 million with 2017 completion.

They currently own in a Chifley duplex, where he lived next door to former team mate Tim Grant who recently sold for around $1.65 million through McGrath agent Marnie Seinor.

George clearly didn't fancy buying brother Sam's apartment, who took his Bondi Beach apartment off the market last week having decided to lease it out with a $1950 a week asking price. It was also available at $2600 a week furnished.
