A residential development expected to be Box Hill's tallest tower on completion was officially launched to the public on April 9, 2016, with 8 percent of stage one sold out.

Sky One will be a 35-storey mixed-use building comprising 419 apartments and retail by Golden Age Development Group. It will be located at 545 Station Street.

The interest from the public can be gauged by the fact that sales crossed $140 million, said a media release.

"We are absolutely thrilled with the response to Sky One so far. The launch weekend was overwhelming success with 85% of stage one sold and an extremely strong level of interest from the local Box Hill market,” said marketing and sales director of Golden Age, Dandan Zhao.

Privately owned Golden Age is based in Melbourne and among its developments are the new five-star Sheraton Hotel in Melbourne, residential towers Victoria One, Collins House and Opera, and two new projects in Sydney.
