Hawthorn Edwardian home takes top price: REIV

A clearance rate of 77 percent was recorded this weekend compared to 73 percent last weekend across Melbourne, and 72 percent this weekend last year.

There were 429 auctions reported to the REIV, with 332 selling and 97 being passed in, 39 of those on a vendor bid.

"The auction market has started strongly with far higher clearance rates than this time last year," Enzo Raimondo, the REIV chief noted.
