Melbourne developer Tim GURNER secured strong sales in his pre-launch of his South Melbourne project.

Architects Elenberg Fraser, interior designer David Hicks and landscaper Jack Merlo have collaborated on the nine-level building of 71 apartments set 200 metres from Albert Park Lake.

The 74 Eastern RoadSouth Melbourne pricing was set at $435,000 to $3.95 million through 360 Property Group.

All six penthouses were first to go bought by five buyers, with GURNER banking a total of $10.75 million.

One buyer bought two penthouses, outlaying $3.5 million to amalgamate the pair.

GURNER invested $1 million on the display suite.
