A vastly renovated family home in Indooroopilly was the most expensive sale in Queensland at weekend auctions selling for $1.2 million.

The property has nearly doubled in price in four years, almost rebuilt since it's last traded at $625,000 in 2011.

The four bedroom house sits on 810 sqm with a huge garden with a built in bbq and an outdoor alfresco deck.

The property at 49 Disraeli Street was sold by Daniel Argent of Urban Property Agents.

Indooroopilly is located seven kilometres west of the Brisbane CBD.
