Montego Hills fast-tracks third acreage release in Gold Coast

Montego Hills has brought forward its third land release of 15 lots owing to demand for Gold Coast acreage blocks.

Since the community’s launch four months ago, it has sold 30 acreage lots, mainly to homebuyers in southeast Queensland.

The third land release is on Saturday, with all 15 lots averaging 1 and a quarter acres (5,109 square metres) in size.

Montego Hills is at 97 Upper Ormeau Road, Kingsholme.

Villawood Properties co-executive director Tony Johnson said Montego Hills land releases were being brought forward by several months to keep up with buyer demand. 

It auction comes as the development’s first construction program gets underway, including earthworks, utility installation, stormwater drainage and civil works.

The lots are priced from $399,900 to $499,900. 

“Our buyers are attracted to the rural lifestyle on offer, with many looking at having a horse, a large veggie patch, a big shed or a swimming pool in their backyards," said Johnson.
