A Victorian Norwood home built in 1858 has been listed with $1.4 million hopes.

The 105 William Street two-storey converted hotel is constructed of Bluestone and has a total land size of 690 square metres.

The property is currently being used as an eight-bedroom residence, with four living areas, study and dining. There are also three kitchens and three bathrooms.

The hotel was converted into a residence in 1909 and consists of 18 rooms, with a total living area of 360 square metres.

The home re-embraces its South Australian colonial heritage with fireplaces with cedar surrounds, polished floorboards, colonial windows and a interior Baltic and cedar spiral staircase.

The home is listed through Robert Maiolo from MyHouse Real Estate Manningham.
