Texan billioniare Jim Clark and his wife, model Kristy Hinze-Clark have relisted their Point Piper bolthole, headlining Sydney's somewhat limited early spring prestige offerings.

The apartment just doesn't suit their family lifestyle anymore.

Their 320 square metre apartment is one of the whole-floor residences within the Sienna harbourfront block on Wolseley Road.

They paid $7.65 million through estate agent Jaime Upton in mid-2009 when it was being developed by builder Michael Bezzina.

Jamie Upton, of Jaime Upton International, has the latest listing. No formal price indication has been given, but the couple are understood to desire $8 million plus on their third marketing attempt.

The Point Piper apartment has been the periodic bolthole of the couple, who have instead rented summer vacation houses including the Vaucluse mansion, Villa Igiea and more recently on Coolong Road, Vaucluse.

The couple and their two daughters, Dylan and Harper are likely be back this Christmas as Jim, the Netscape co-founder, sails again on Comanche in the 2015 Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht race, this time probably with Kristy.

The beachfront garden apartment immediately underneath has also been listed through LJ Hooker Double Bay agent Bill Malouf who says it would work to combine them both.

The complex has 180-degree harbour, city and Bridge views, offering contemporary luxury, privacy and security.

The Clark-Hinze apartment features an expansive free-flowing floorplan with a covered balcony.

Its second to none finishes include heated Israeli rose stone slabs, blonde burr walnut timber featured walls, cream silk carpet, onyx and sandstone, plus fully integrated marble Miele gas kitchen.

There are generous living and dining spaces framed by retractable doors opening to a large terrace.

It has three ensuite bedrooms including the master suite with a spa bath and balcony access overlooking a sandy beachfront.
