The Museum of Contemporary Art director, Liz Ann Macgregor, best know for her colourful tartan wardrobe, is swapping inner Sydney terrace living for the lower north shore.

With partner Peter, Liz Ann has quietly bought in Cremorne, a freestanding 1910 Federation Arts and Crafts two storey home costing a tad over $3 million. Four double bedrooms, three suitably with large built-ins.

Their combined 1890s Thompson Street Darlinghurst terraces have sold for $2.05 million through Ray White agent Gavin Rubinstein, a nice gain having been bought five years earlier for $1.64 million.
