Dunelm, one of Cremorne Point's original homes sold under the weekend auction hammer for $6,191,000.

The five-bedroom home at 17 Milson Road had two bidders seek the 1909 residence.

The winning offer at the Belle auction reportedly came from a young family from Edgecliff.

The vendors had bought the property in 1971 from the original owner-builder.

Sydney's clearance over past week including Saturday sat at 79.9%, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
