High Court judge Virginia Bell quickly accepts market judgement

The historic Redfern home of High Court judge Virginia Bell has been sold ahead of its August 1 auction.
It was offered with a price guide of $2.4 million plus.
The 1850s Georgian cottage last traded in 1984 for $81,000.
No sale price has been offered on the timeless Georgian cottage, built in 1850 as part of surgeon William Redfern's original estate.
But Title Tattle gleans around $2.6 million was secured.
Occupying a 277sqm block on Pitt Street, the 1850s gem has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
