No sale yet for architect Michael Munckton's Prahran townhouse.

His three bedroom 28 Grattan Street, built about six years ago, came with initial price hopes of $6 million plus.

He knocked down a weatherboard cottage after his $940,000 purchase in 2004.

Its most visible feature is the striking central courtyard featuring an eccentric Australian ram sculpture.

"It is what you used to find in early MELBOURNE, at the top end of Collins Street, townhouses built right on the street," Munckton once suggested, though perhaps without the ram.

Kay & Burton's Michael Gibson is still seeking expressions of interest for the eclectic MELBOURNE home, inspired by different corners of the world.
