The property industry veteran Lyn Shaddock and his wife Jan recently snappily sold their Werai retreat, The Folly, after just four weeks on the market.

Shaddock, chairman of Growthpoint Properties and Calibre Capital, listed the 4.7 hectare property with $2.45 million hopes with Margaret McCauley Real Estate along with Angus Yuill of Campbell Jones Property.

The four bedroom, three bathroom house was built after the land was bought for $500,000 in 2001.

The Greenhills Road property with irrigated cold climate gardens fetched $2,285,000. There is a barn built of Northern River hardwoods with mezzanine loft.
