Capital cities - the gap between house and apartment price medians: CoreLogic RP Data

The difference between median house and median apartments is greatest in Adelaide, according to new figures from CoreLogic RP Data.

CoreLogic RP Data found the narrowest gap was Brisbane.

The Brisbane gap was $70,000 with houses 14.5% dearer than units.

The Melbourne gap was $82,000 with houses 15% dearer than units.

The Perth gap was $88,000 with houses 16% dearer than units.

The Canberra gap was $103,000 with houses 18% dearer than units.

The Sydney gap was $172,000 with houses 20% dearer.

The Darwin gap was $110,000 with houses 20% dearer than units.

The Hobart gap was $74,000 with houses 21% dearer than its units. 

The Adelaide gap was $105,000 with houses 25% dearer.
