Nearer the beach, but 70s Palm Beach downsize for Jodie Boffa and Matt McGrath

The former fashion designer Jodie Boffa and her ad executive husband Matt McGrath have downsized their Palm Beach retreat to a 1970s home close to the beach. 

They secured $7.2 million from the former mining executive Geoff Plummer and his wife Linda for their hillside double block.

Boffa and McGrath, chief brand officer at Network Ten, had bought the 1,770 square metre property in 1998 for $1.75 million

It became the holiday rental,The Paramount.

David Edwards, of LJ Hooker Capri, secured the sale.

The couple have spent $3.7 million closer to the beach. It had been listed with $4.3 million hopes late last year.
