Moonee Ponds had the weekend's top auction sale in Melbourne.

The 1920s house came with 275 square metre one level space on its 805 square metre block.

It was renovated in 2004.

David Vaughan at Nelson Alexander secured the weekend sale having offered buyers a $2.2 million to $2.4 million price guidance.
