Rammed earth Hawthorn $5.35 million sale: RP Data's top 10 sales

The top three sales in the RP Data top 10 sales was spread across three states this week.

A Hawthorn contemporary offering - a tri-level home with lap pool and floodlit tennis court - topped the list.

It was designed in 2000 by Simon Swaney, then at Swaney Draper, now at Bates Smart.

Pictured above, the home has rammed earth walls.

The six bedroom, four bathroom house comes with five car basement on its Scotch Hill 1,284.5 square metre holding.

Vendors paid $950,000 for the block in 1998.

RT Edgar's Paul Pfeiffer and Warwick Anderson had been offering a price guide in the mid-to-high $5 millions.

  4. 98 Victoria Street, Potts Point, NSW, 2011, four-bedroom house, sold on October 3 by McGrath Estate Agents for $3.5 million
  5. 27 Glenview Street, Paddington, NSW, 2021, three-bedroom house, sold on October 3 by McGrath Estate Agents for $2.8 million
  6. 9 Adrian Place, Balgowlah Heights, NSW, 2093, four-bedroom house, sold prior to auction on October 4 by Belle Property Seaforth for $2.615 million
  7. 19 Chelmsford Avenue, Epping, NSW, 2121, five-bedroom house, sold at auction on October 4 by Ray White Epping for $2.56 million
  8. 14 Oakville Road, Willoughby, NSW, 2068, five-bedroom house, sold at auction on October 4 by L J Hooker Willoughby for $2.52 million
  9. 52 Denning Street, South Coogee, NSW, 2034, four-bedroom house, sold on October 2 by Ballard Property Group for $2.305 million
  10. 12 Weldon Street, Burwood, NSW, 2134, five-bedroom house, sold on September 30 by Elders Inner West Ashfield for $2.3 million
