Artarmon, Sydney house sells for record $2.95 million under the hammer

A record price was paid last weekend in Artarmon when 9 Pyrl Road sold for $2.95 million under the hammer to a Cammeray family.

There were 15 registered bidders at the weekend offering on Pyrl Road, with a $2.3 million opening bid when it was auction through John McManus from LJ Hooker Artarmon/Willoughby.

It sits on a 696 square metre block.

The prior record was 12 Harden Road (pictured below), which sold in July this year for $2.82 million.

The four-bedroom house at 12 Harden Road was offered for the first time in 99 years selling through agent Danny Grant, of Ray White Lower North Shore.
