No bid Michael Clarke Lilli Pilli home auction result

Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke has yet to sell his Lilli Pilli house after there were no bids at today's auction.

There was $2.7 million plus price guidance from listing agent Matthew King for its McGrath auction. There was only a $2.7 million vendor bid. The McGrath website has it now for private treaty sale with $2.7 million plus suggestions. News Ltd reported the auction lasted just five minutes.

Clarke paid $2.87 million in 2006 and has renovated it since.

Back in 2009 Clarke thought of quitting the Sutherland Shire but failed to achieve his then $3.4 million hopes.

The contemporary five-bedroom, four-bathroom split-level house comes with pool, spa and boatshed on its 1670 square metre bushland riverfront block.

Earlier this year Clarke and wife, Kyly spent $8.3 million in Vaucluse.
