Architects Elenberg Fraser have designed a four-tower, 1,162-apartment development for Eureka Funds Management and developer Clement Lee for the former Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre site.

The site has current approval for a 75,000 square-metre office project across two towers.

The Australian Financial Review says it is a $400 million plus high density residential project.

The syndicate acquired the property from the state government four years ago for about $40 million.

The site falls under the City of Melbourne’s flexible CBD zone.
